******BEWARE******
Sometimes you look in the past and think of what you've learned...
From your deeds of life, what have you earned?
If for each deed of good, you were paid 1 dime...
How much would you have at the end of your time?
We choose to have fun and there are plenty of things to buy....
So unconcerned are we of the day we will die....
Many of us have made plenty mistakes....
We foul up and pass by opportunity for unknown sake....
If to get into heaven it took ten dollars or more...
How many of us would be left standing outside the door...
We think our insurance will cover us once we're gone...
but heaven wasn't included in the policy we're on...
So don't be surprised if you get there and see a toll gate....
During your life you had so many chances but now, IT'S TO LATE!

YOUR BROTHER
We all have different Fathers and yes, we all have different mothers,
and you may not recognize me at all but I'm still one of your brothers!
I pray you understand my feelings, so this great friendship can begin.
For the words I share with you today, come from deep, deep down within.
Listen to what I say and ask questions if you don't understand
For I want nothing to be over your heads, I'll help you all if I can.
If you receive me as your brother, you'll be surprised at what I will say,
but if my color still bothers you, please don't let it get in the way.
We could still be fighting like the rest of the world, and not have any freedom,
It's and honor to be an American and I'm proud of all the things we've won!
Slavery was a great test of survival those tribulations made my people strong.
Now we can adopt to any climate or situation, it doesn't take us blacks very long.
Slavery brought the best out of my people but it scars all Americans must wear,
For no one can turn back the hands of time, if they wanted too or ever if they cared.
My heritage is a part of this great country and this on one can change.
yet many will hate me because of my color but I'm an American, just the same!
NO murder, hatred or prejudice could ever change these important facts;
It's an honor to be an American and I'm very proud of being black!
So speaking as a Black man I can say that we've all come very far.
So you too must be proud of your heritage, no matter, what color... you are!
