The Poet

I didn't like being different
all the common things in this world I'd seek.

But then a voice told me to hide my similarities
and to expose that which is unique.

God created me in His own image
and that means a lot to me;

So I must strive to be at me best
because I'm a reflection of God, you see!

You may question the way I look
dislike the way I'm dressed.

If my salvation was left in your hands
we know my life would be a mess.

God has given me all these poems
I'm His child and I know it!

Yes, my name is Arthur Agrippa Williams
but this world will know me as...
The Poet!

Love

I love my Momma Linda
her love is always Free!

"She gives me toys, games and dolls
just cause she loves me."

"I love Momma Linda so very much.
Cause she loves me so and gives me good stuff!"

Walk of Faith
MY GUARDIAN ANGEL

Problems at every turn
so many heartbreaks to handel.
Then  I met a stranger who told me,
he was my Guardian angel.

If ever I started to fall
my angel would help me stand
He's always there when I need him.
"oh, what a wonderful friend!"

He's given me new Hopes and Dreams
has made my life easier to handel
This wonderful being sent from God
"My Guardian Angel!"

LIVE FREE OR DIE!

Their sacrifice has given me freedom,
and I enjoy this freedom each day.
It came in a moment of passion, in a moment of passion, can be taken away.

Think of all the men and women
who are now resting in their graves;
though years have passed I will not forget
the price our forefathers paid.

I've paid the price of freedom
some say, "the price is too high!"
Live as a slave, you make the call,
I'd rather "live free or die!

I know not the names of the fallen,
those who died to make this country free.
I'll remember the price they paid,
"freedom belongs to me!

I'll honor our dead, protect their dreams
cherish freedom everyday.
It came in a moment of passion,
in a moment of passion can be taken away.

So if my freedom is being threatened
no price would be too high.
"Give up freedom without a fight!"
"I'd rather live free or die!"

                                MARTIN'S LAST DREAM

When I think about Martin Luther King Jr., many thoughts come into my mnd.
His God given power for speaking the truth, when he lived in his days & times.

I can still see him in my mind, remember how the world would listen, when he'd speak.
He had a great comission of love and a great commission towards Peace!

He knew death was coming upon him he knew what he had to face, he said,
"Like any man I would love to live a long life, for longivity has it's place".

"But I'm no worried about anything, because I've been upon the mountain top
and I've seen the coming of the Lord."

God spoke to Marin on the mountain top shortly before him life came to an end
and the next poem you'll hear is what I BELIEVE, God said to him!

GOD spoke to Martin on the mountain top and tod him, "Your live is nearing it's end."
Though he have no hatred for anyone, that there were many, who hated him.

"The same people who hate you will benefit from what you've done my friend,
I'll show you what lies ahead because you won't get to see it with them!"

"When your people were being mistreated, I found you marching for them in the streets.
In a country full of injustice you cried out for Love and for Peace!"

"This Dream you have of Unity, comes from believng in what Right,
many hate you my son because of your Dream, so their plotting to take your Life!"

"They think they can stop this Dream by setting out to kill the man,
but the fools don't know that this Dream of yours will spread across this land."

"So tell the world that you've been to the mountain top so you have noting to Fear
You've seen whites and blacks living as brothers and that day is drawing near!"

"Martin, you've sreved your people and mankind well, your a man who truly cares.
great riches are awaiting you my son, for your mansion has been Prepared!"
